  • What do I wear to my sauna session?
For the best sauna experience, we recommend wearing a swim suit. You are also welcome to wear shorts and a t-shirt/athletic top if you're more comfortable. Slides or flip flops are great for going in and out of the sauna. You may also bring a robe or large towel/blanket for sitting by the fire.
  • Is this a private session or will other people be there too?
Each session is available for up to 6 people to participate. If your party is fewer than 6 people, there may be others that attend your session too. If you reserve the full sauna, you are welcome to bring up to 10 people in your group.
  • How long should I stay in the sauna?
The key is to listen to your body. Many guests enjoy doing two to three rounds of the Trinity Cycle—moving through heat, cold, and relaxation. Anywhere from 8-20 minutes in the sauna is typical. Take breaks between rounds to cool down and hydrate. Remember, the sauna experience is about finding a rhythm that feels right for you.
  • Are there bathrooms available?
Yes, there are bathrooms located inside of the winery.
  • Are there other things to do at Alexis Bailly Vineyard?
Definitely! Heated yurts are available to rent during the winter months. This can be a great addition to keep the relaxation going after your sauna session. You are also welcome to walk the grounds or head into the winery for a beverage (wine, beer, and a variety of non-alcoholic options). For a full list of AB Vineyard's offerings, visit www.abvwines.com
  • Can I bring food or drinks to my sauna session?
Yes! You're welcome to bring snacks. We highly encourage you to bring a filled water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your sauna session. We will also have additional water available. The winery offers a variety of snacks and beverages available for purchase. There are many non-alcoholic options too!
  • Can I put water on the rocks in the sauna?
This is our favorite part! The steam coming off the rocks from the water is called loyly and is a traditional part of Finnish sauna. There is a bucket with water and a ladle in the sauna and we encourage you to embrace the powerful, calming, waves of steam.
  • Is there a fee to enter the vineyard or for parking?
No. It is free to enter the vineyard and park!
  • Is this a guided sauna session?
No - this is a hosted sauna session. Your sauna host will be on-site throughout your session to make sure you have all of your questions answered and are having a great experience. They will not be in the sauna with you.
  • Can I rent the sauna for a private event at a different location?
We are always looking to make quality sauna more available! Send us an email at info@trinitysauna.com to see if we can accommodate.
